Research at the intersection of cognitive neuroscience, EEG, and Fast Periodic Visual Stimulation

I am a Biomedical Engineering PhD student at Mississippi State University working to standardize Fast Periodic Visual Stimulation (FPVS) for use across cognitive neuroscience domains. My work focuses on end-to-end software for designing FPVS experiments and processing EEG data, with workflows built for non-experts, reproducible analysis, and reuse by other scientists and engineers.

About Me

I am a Biomedical Engineering PhD student at Mississippi State University with experience implementing Fast Periodic Visual Stimulation (FPVS) paradigms across a range of EEG research projects. During my master’s degree, I developed FPVS Toolbox, a standalone Python-based software package designed to streamline FPVS data processing and analysis.

My current research interests focus on making FPVS more accessible through easy to use software tools, helping researchers across domains apply the method more easily and expand its impact in EEG-based neuroscience research. I am also interested in applying FPVS to study mild cognitive impairment related to dementia, with the goal of improving early detection.
